Well I'm happy cause my mother said my Chopin was better than last time. (She will buy me mangas *o*)
And in the same time I'm disappointed cause I wanted to find a japanese and an american penpal and the websites aren't free. (and I definitely WON'T pay for something like this xD)

Does someone know a free website for that sort of things?

Just as Avenue Q was made for me xDDDDDDDDDDDD (whatever the subject, I ALWAYS come back to Avenue Q xDDDD)

But d'ya know what, today I listened to something else !!!!! *o* Especially "Not Ready Yet" okay, that's not a big deal, but anyway, I did listened to something else than Avenue Q.
(But no matter what, I always come back to it xD cause I like it so much *o*)


ARGH I had to study my kanjis. Crap.

Uh ? Eels ? I need it ! right now ! where is my goddamm cd ?! a little story 'bout this album : it's the first one I bought from Eels... and I didn't knew at that time how good it was.. so I go on listening it for the first time and it was like... illumination (no, not Joe XD)... I remember I thought "well... this is what I call music... It talks right to my soul, melting all my feelings into songs that was exactly what I needed at this time" ... and you know, this album went with me simply everywhere... I bought it twice 'cause the first one got armed several times.. but I kept it... just to remember...

I totally understand *o* As for me, the first time I remember me listening to it, it was ..... I was in the toilets xDDD and my sister was in the bathroom next door. And she put Eels on the hi-fi and from the toilets I could hear it. It was... novocaine for the soul.
I rushed into the bathroom and nearly yell to my sister "WHAT IS THAT MUSIC???????" and she said "Eels. Novocaine for the soul". I fell in love ^^ and I was about, what..... twelve years old? Maybe thirteen. I was in love.
And when I was in junior high, every evening, in the darkness of my bedroom, I listened to it. I wrote in my purple Diddle diary when listening at it, I remember....... especially "your lucky day in hell". And then I turned off the light and I listened those songs in the silence and the dark. Nothing better in the world than that...

And the funny thing is that, when my sister had the cd, she didn't want me to borrow it. So I had to record on a tape what was on the cd. (Fortunately that was something my old hi-fi could do). But the capacity of my tape was too small for the cd, and I had to choose some songs. I recorded until "Mental". And then I switch some songs, Flowers, and all those which were after flower, until "Your Lucky Day in Hell". I listened to the first three notes, and I fell in love with the song at once. I put it on the tape. And I listened to it every night.... *o* that was my favourite song. (Now it's "Not Ready Yet" xD)

And so that's why, for now, this albums reminds me that junior high period. Good memories ^^
And now the song "Your Lucky Day in Hell" reminds me the purple color I love so much *o*

But there's also others memories linked with Eels. When I was dating Max... we were always listening to it xD
Or, recently, last year... when I said to a guy I loved him. Waiting for his answer, I was listening Eels in the dark (again), the red light of the drums shop in front of my appart being the only thing who lightened the room...

Well, songs and memories.... what a strange thing xDDDD

That's the same thing for The Nightmare Before Christmas I was travelling with my parents and my sister, cause my sister was moving to Grenoble and we were helping her. We travelled by night, and while my father was driving, my mother and my sister were sleeping and I was listening Jack's lament, and all the rest of the album in my walkman... (on a tape again xD) and I remember I was staring at the bright orange numbers of the clock which were reflecting on the window of my father's car door... It was about, what.... 3 A.M ? What nice memories...

But I notice that nearly all my "song memories" are linked to the night...

NIGHT IS GOOD! Night is romantic. Night gives the best atmosphere to listen music.

Impressive... memories and music...
there're some songs that make me dizzy when I listen to them... Good Woman, from Cat Power... it's the song I used to listen the most chen I was with a girl I used to love, long ago (well, not that long)... it make me think bout her her, the two of us havin' a drink, watchin' outside the window, talkin' 'bout things, makin' plans... The album Hunky Dory from David Bowie was the only thing I could hear when she left me (for another guy, like in the song XD)... my room was dark and the songs managed to make me think 'bout something else.. I didn't sleep that night...
All you said about Eels, on how you discovered it and all... it's funny and I had pleasure in riding it (not THAT pleasure XD) ^^

ok... I feel a lil' better now... you know sometimes you just want a world or something to make you feel "alive" (if you know what I mean) and I needed it. This week has been very strange for me and knowin' you were here was... hum don't know how to say it... well I'll try ^^
guess I have to make up my mind. I was there (and I'll always be) when you needed me...it's the way I see things... friendship and all this kinda stuff you know lol
